How The Rec Swim Academy Private Swim Lessons Work
Getting started is simple. Click the “Book Your Assessment Now” button to schedule your initial swim assessment.
Assessments are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM.
During the assessment, you (or your child) will be paired with one of our instructors, who will evaluate current skill level and water comfort. From there, the instructor will create a personalized lesson plan based on your goals and ability.
After the assessment, you’ll book ongoing lessons directly with your assigned instructor based on their availability—giving you consistency and a clear path for progress.
If your instructor is ever unavailable, we have qualified team members who can step in to keep your lessons on track.
Registering Your Child for Classes
If your child has previously attended a class, private lesson, or swim team, they already have an account on file. Do not create a new account. Simply log in using the email previously used and you can proceed with booking.
When signing your child up for a class, please follow these steps:
- Use your child’s information (name and birthdate) when creating the account and registering for classes.
- Each member must have a unique email address in the system.
If you have multiple children:
To have all children under one parent account, they must be properly linked in our system. You have two options:
- Stop by the front desk
We will create a parent profile and link all children to it. - Email us at support@therecsji.com with:
- Parent’s name, birthdate, and email
- Each child’s name and birthdate
Our admin team will set everything up and send you:
- A link to add a payment method
- Login details so you can manage all your children’s activities in one place
