We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the Rec Sharks Summer Swim Team!
Summer Session Details
Dates: July 21st – August 27th
Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Blue Sharks: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Black Sharks: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Throughout the summer season, swimmers will focus on stroke technique, endurance, race skills, and overall swim development in a fun and supportive team environment.

Bonus Swim Opportunities Included
As soon as your child is registered for Rec Sharks Summer Swim Team, they are welcome to attend our supervised swim opportunities throughout the summer at no additional cost:
Community Lifeguard Swim
- Mondays: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Fridays: 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Lifeguarded Family Lap Swim
- Fridays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
These additional swim times are a great opportunity for swimmers to build confidence, improve endurance, and spend extra time in the water between practices.
Priority Registration
Space is limited and priority registration is being offered to returning Rec Sharks swimmers first. Returning swimmers are welcome to register now. If space remains available, open tryouts for new swimmers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Registering Your Child
If your child has previously attended a class, private lesson, or swim team, they already have an account on file. Please do not create a new account. Simply log in using the email previously used and proceed with registration.
When registering your child:
• Use your child’s name and birthdate when creating the account and booking classes.
• Each member must have a unique email address in the system.
Families with Multiple Children
To manage multiple children under one parent account, the children must be linked in our system. You have two options:
Option 1: Visit the front desk and we will create a parent profile and link all children.
Option 2: Email support@therecsji.com with:
- Parent’s name, birthdate, and email address
- Each child’s name and birthdate
Our admin team will set everything up and send you:
- A link to add a payment method
- Login information so you can manage all your children’s activities from one account
